Actually, under the front pastic cowl under your wipers, there's a plastic area where air is drawn in. You can fabricate your own air filter to fit this spot, or you can put an air freshener and tape it down or something inthere to have fresh scent blow through your air vents.

I made a custom filter.

haha thats so funny, so true, thats happen to me once already, they were selling me the whole kit plus harness. i told them i dont need that, just that part i'm asking for, all i got was ooooooooooooooooooooohhh, ok.

I got a big price difference, lol

I don't think i could have explain myself any easier to them either, i thought it was funny either way, you don't need to be cocky to me, talking me like i'm ignorant about what I came to buy.

well that sounds about right they charge about 80 dollars, to go take a lunch break and then open your hood, i wouldn't be surprised thats what has happen to me anyways, and i know i watch them

ok now I feel better

the z really doesn't have a filter? that's odd most cars I've owned due, they're normally under the front windshield cowling.
