Default Good CHEAPER Racing Seats?

So I was looking around at some Status carbon fiber shelled racing seats, and the price was just way too high

I was wondering if anyone knew of any racing seats that have the same basic shape as Status Ring seats and in CF, but isn't so costly...

I've heard of F1Spec but their quality doesn't look that great

CF and cheap are oxymoron's.....

There are cheap seats out there but there not gonna have CF on them and if they do it's usually gonna be ok quality.

i was checking out the f1specs as well. ive been following them on hondatech forums, and they seemed to be decent for the price. the type 2's seems to wrinkle after a bit, and fade rather quickly. im looking into a set of type 3's myself, but part of my just wants to stop bing a pansy and shell out the $$ for a set of brides

Don't follow anything on the honda forums. You should see how many of them support the "50 dollar paintjob". Some were actually arguing how it is almost as good as a paint job using an air gun.

Kirkey Racing seats are used at the professional level and do not cost as much as those other JDM brands like Status/Bride or the Recaro's.

Kirkey are used in road racing like DTM, other road racing, also drag racing and nascar. However if quality is all your going for then it shouldn't matter to you what type of racing as long as it's professionally proven.

but i don't think these seats are certified if you are doing any type of racing in them. here is also a good link.

there not certified. the creator/owner of f1 spec says the seats would cost twice as much if they were fia approved.

yea there would have to be quality control involved at that point.

imo safety equipment is not one thing you want to cheap out on.
