i used to love the blacked out look, but now I think it was a mistake (which is why I removed mine). the red tails look good against the ppw, so consider yourself fortunate. the red against the daytona blue is a different story. I say take em off.

Blackouts belong on BALINNNN Escalades.

I never understood the blackout craze ...to me it has no place in the import scene. VIP cars or Luxury SUV's look fine with them and there chrome rims etc.

To each his own tho.

i dont think complete black looks good, i like it when its slightly blacked out so it creates a subtle look and defines the lights more...not complete darkness...but to each his own...:-D

honestly. i think it makes the car look more aggressive. i have an 05 but if i had an 06-07 i wouldnt touch the tail lights...there already top of the line i think, but dont take me wrong. i love the tint, i did the whole spray method (night shades) it works great.

Quick question I have been wondering....

Can the 350z take a brighter bulb in the tail without burning out the wires? Is that not even an issue, or would this create some problems?

I haven't switched to the tinted tails, and the pre-cuts I bought aren't that dark (35% if I remember right), but could I put in some brighter bulbs without burning out the wiring, or should I replace attempt to replace the wiring?

I personally like them. If there really that dark, then take them off. I have an 06 and I have mine slighty tinted darker and I think it makes it look more aggresive. Just my
