Default Official part name of shocks that hold the hatch up?

I searched on mynismo.com and came up with "lift cylinder"... can anyone verify this? Mine are going bad and can't hold the hatch up when its 40 degrees outside.

OR if you know how I might be able to fix it, I would appreciate it.

Thanks!!!

GO PATS!

Got them in today and tried to put them on. That top bolt on the stock ones is a b****. It is seized up bad. It have been spraying it with wd40 every few hours.

EDIT: After some soaking they came off easy. Done in about 5 min. These are very good quality and have a much improved lifting power over the stock hatch struts.
