Paddle Shifter OEM wheel
Well, i finally took sometime and worked on my Proto-type paddle shifter design for the oem wheel. I got the levers and mechanical box done. I still have the outside case to form with FG and wiring the units up to the oem shifter on the AT. Here are some pictures of them mounted.

I had invented something else long time ago, and spent about couple grand getting it producted, then it all fell apart do to a friend. I still have some of the parts from that one.
If you can make a nice easy bolt-on, no wire splicing (preferably using a harness to connect the wires) then I'm 100% down and I'll start the list!

My proto-type is going to be hard wired. But IF i do production it will be a bolt on and plugged in harness/adaptor.

The reason why i like Jame's kit is because it is 350z specific. It also looks like you were able to keep the steering cover on here which is an important factor for me. I just saw the link that Lawy sent me but g35driver isn't online yet. One concern with Zach's kit is that you can't keep the OE cover and he's having another company make it for him but it'd be for the g35, not the 350z

Do you think a VB upgrade would make any difference?

If it looks factory, has no-more delay than oem and isn't rediculously priced then I'm in for one. However if there is a negative comment to make the paddles tend to look a little flimsey compared to others I've seen

Count me in . . .

If you can fabricate this so we can keep our OEM steering wheel & controls, then I think you will have a best seller! Just make sure the actual paddles are not so big like the 1st one they put out on the market.
