Would my 2005 350Z benefit from newer, 6k HID replacement bulbs? Or should I just stick to the factory 4300k. I understand the OEM kelvin has the best output light-wise, but I want to know if 6k would look a little better.

BTW, ladyzed refers to my car's name not me.
get 8000k. i have that in my 05 track (HI-LO) and low is like an exotic violet blue and hi beam is an intense blue/white, i can see 100x's better them when i had my 4300k...

Actually its just your imagination. The higher you go up the scale the less output your bulbs produce even though they may appear brighter. Stick with 6000k or lower.
Hey guys, I tried looking for a post reguarding this but I came up empty..
I have an 05 6speed Perf Z. w/ factory HIDs. I believe these are to be 4000kelvin in light temp, I would like to bump em up to 8000k, does anyone know if this can be accomplished with a simple bulb change or is a ballast change in order as well (aftermarker of couse, DDM)
Lol never drove a Honda before, I enjoy the 8ks ( can see far) not trying to look like Brian l spilner though.
Sure about that? When I changed mine out to 6k light output was reduced compared to the stock 4k. I can't imaging 8k putting out better light output. 4k is closest to daylight IIRC.
