The atenna I bought grew on me.. actually like it a lot now. Kept it.

The gloss black Agency Power antenna was tempting, but I'm just gonna get the RDX antenna for ~$10 bucks and wont be nearly as pissed if some foolio jacks it.

Edit: Put it on yesterday. No discernable loss in reception. It threads on nicer than the stock one, and has a hard stop at the bottom, so it's basically impossible to overtighten. Very small gap (like .5mm) at the base but otherwise it looks perfect. Good cheap mod.

only problem is it has the "swirls" on it .. at first I didnt like it but I'll see how it is in a week or two .. if not I'll just order the other one or swap it with a sebring, 300, or avenger when one comes through the shop

think I saw somewhere its not the 08 avenger but before 07 .. or the antenna for a chrysler 300 ..anyways

It does fit perfect at the base though and gets just as good signal as stock

Lol, this thread is hilarious. Anyway, think I'm gonna get the Dodge one.

 

Where can I get a really long antenna. I think my stock one is too short. I want to get reception from other planets. I think I'm going to put a big CB radio antenna from the 1970's (Smokey and the Bandit style).

 

 

anyone has part number for Dodge antenna? I went to the dealer today and they give me a long *** one from Dodge Caliber

 

threw away the package but just go to the dealer and smack the dumba$$ parts person and say "DODGE AVENGER ANTENNA, NOT A CALIBER"

I got a 08 and it has the "swirls" or looks "ribbed" .. haha .. look stupid at first but its grown on me .. it kinda gives it something extra than just a smooth antenna

but you can order the antenna from newish avenger or magnum

I believe before 07's were smooth .. but dont quote me on that .. I work at a dodge dealer and the parts lady couldnt see a difference in the years .. but idk

I ordered a 08 and got one with swirls around it .. so I dont know if its a different part number or the year or the model of the dodge (compared to a magnum, etc)

as for the s2k vs avenger .. the s2000 may be shorter but fits like junk .. I love my avenger antenna .. fits perfect and looks like its meant to be there
