Wow bickering over an Antenna, whats up next week? Kia Antenna vs Ford?

Anyone have the dodge antenna part #? I'd rather have that than my S2k antenna.

Mike - who will go take out a loan to buy his $9 antenna for his 45k sports car.

 

I tried to look up the dodge part to order it but i can't find a site. I am going to call a dealership in Australia tomorrow. Anyone have a US link?

 

For $10 bucks, how can you go wrong? RDX shorty antenna FTW. :-)

BTW, I am staring at the 08 Avenger antenna that's sitting in my trash can ... it didn't fit .... I don't know if dealership gave me wrong part or w/e ..... On that note, I am done with modding my antenna....i'll just keep the stocker...

 

bummer..ya they must have given you the wrong one, because the one i picked up worked perfect...

after purchasing it, i quickly installed it in the dodge parking lot before driving off....

Someone should post up on an Acura RDX site ... see if they replace their antennas with the 08 Dodge Avenger antenna. Ha.

I dont know the part number, but its the antenna that fits the 08' Avenger.

 

Over here in Australia Dodge's are almost non-existent. I called Dodge and there isn't one antenna in the country. If I am going to have to get it from the states I'm better off just getting it myself. If anyone fins a link please post it. Thanks,

 

I got my Dodge one today. That other member is right. It fits perfectly with no gap. I love it! Dodge antenna FTW!

I called dodge first, very unhelpful. Don't have it in stock so the guy tells me that if I don't have a vin number that I can't get it PERIOD, plus I'd have to come in and pay for it today to get it by tomorrow. So I called Acura and they don't have it in stock either, but the guy didn't even ask for a vin number, nor for me to pay for it ahead of time, just said come in after 9am tomorrow and it will be here. Acura FTW as far as customer service, and its 6 bucks.

 

Weird. The Dodge dealer here looked it up for me (didn't have a part#), printed off a picture from their database to show me, ordered it and even gave me a call the next morning that it was in.

 

It's unfortunate that you will always get good and bad service no matter where you go. It just depends which person you get.

The Dodge antenna is better looking and fits better!
