Default Chip in Hood of New Z

I just got a small but noticeable chip in my paint. How should I take care of this? Should I take it to a pro? How much would it cost or should I get some touch up paint.

Default Depends...

on how brutal we're talking? Touch up paint may work but if drastic, it might need more attention. Do you have a photograph so I can really CSI this thing up?

pics uploaded. Paint came completely off. I'm thinking of getting clear bra over it but am wondering if clear bra will protect against such a chip

you suck it up and tell yourself it'll be okay because you'll replace it later. then clear bra the next bumper/hood. that's what i'm doing.

I had a clear bra installed right after I purchased my car. Clear bra is very strong and would prevent chips like what you have. You should just get some touch up paint and live with it. The only way to get rid of the chip completely is to repaint your entire hood, which would cost several hundred dollars.

I actually am not too worried about it. I'm probably gonna touch it up and clear bra that so I won't get more chips.
