you need a 2.2 ohm resistor. those can be found at radio shack. the ones i found came in a variety pack that had 99 other resistors i did not need. $14.95 if you choose that route.

if you want to add a fuse to ensure proper circuitry during an accident, you need to find a fuse (easy enough) as well as the wiring to connect the fuse to the resistor (little bit harder).

in either case, you can make one yourself for about $2.00, but it's a matter of finding the right parts.

Sorry to dig up this thread, but this is the only one I can find that mentions including a fuse when making your own resistor for the airbag light. Does anyone know what Amp fuse I'd want to use here? I would assume just a 5-Amp. . .
