Do you have glass coverage? If so get a new one. The cracks will contnue to grow.

windshield repair companies can stop the cracking process if the crack is less than the size of a dollar bill. otherwise, youre pretty much going to need a new windshield.

Turtle, what are you driving? Man, 500 plus seems awfully expensive for a Z's windshield....

I just noticed in your sig you now have a BMW so it makes sense concerning the cost. $200.00 per ltr --- B - M - W

5$ super glue

Edit: Honestly, shouldn't cost you 1,000 for a new one. Recently had my camery's windshield replaced for around 300, don't know if it would cost almost triple for a z.

You might check your state laws also. I work in Kentucky and if what you described happens there, the windshield is replaced for free.

Wow this quote is almost as expensinve as getting the glass from NiSSan, I think they quoted at $980.00 from the stealership !!!
I replaced mine it took the local shop about 2 hours on a Friday afternoon to replace the windshield.

I went to SafeLite glass as recommended by 350ZTheStandard... but i think the reason why its going to be so expensive is because my BMW has rain sensors and they have to re-mold the sensors back onto the windshield...

I'll find out Monday whats going to happen....

I had the windshield replaced in my 03 for around $230.00. Reputable glass installer and factory windshield. I asked if the price was correct so many times the guy got offended. Couldn't believe how inexpensive it was.
