Roof Overlay problem.
My car was recently hit by a hail storm and instead of replacing everything with oem pieces I purchased a cf hood, a pillars, roof overlay, and hatch. Everything went on really nice except the roof overlay and one of the a pillars.
The roof overlay is about 1/4 inch to small to fit onto my roof. When I put it into place the driver side lines up perfectally but the passenger side leaves a huge gap and you can see the blue paint. It actually looks really bad.
Also towards the hatch the overlay is a few mm's short in the center. It lines up great on both the sides but when you get to the middle it isnt even close. Once again you can see the blue paint. Also in that area the clear coat is chipping.
Has anyone had problems like this. This is a master grade overlay that I spent quite a bit of money on so I was hoping for a better fit. I cant help but be disappointed. I just wanted to make sure I didn't get one that was cut to short.
Also on the passenger side a pillar. It is like my a pillar replacement is bowed up. The driver side sits flush along the roof but the passenger has a good 1/4 inch gap. I made sure to push it as deep as I could into the tab and it is all screwed into place. Not sure if this is common or not.

Did you order your stuff from Jim? or did you buy them off Ebay. I have heard that some of the Ebay ones were made by a different company who happened to buy the molds from Mastergrade.

Oh ok, sorry to infer. Just saw others having the same problem but turned out they brought it from Ebay.
I only test fitted the A Pillars myself, but I should probably test fit the Roof after seeing your results.

Jim.
I sent the email to the address.. He replied and ask me who I purchased the roof from. Since then he will not return my emails?
I have been patient because my car has been in the shop since I ordered the pieces but it will be coming out wed.
Anything I need to do about this?
