I just put mine on too... a 10min install turned into a 2 day ordeal of grinding and aligning. I hope it fits properly, lol.

maybe youve missed a few threads about this specific hood by seibon having issues?

jim@showstoppers said the new ones were fine because of new molds, but who knows if you got one from the new molds or not.

There are none left from the old mold. The new ones still run into clearance issues with some strut bars, but hope for the best !

Great looking hood !

Just got mine on today. Problem now is, I don't know a good way to mount the AeroCatch Hood Latches. Trying to get somebody to put some pictures of theirs on the forum or pm me some pictures, so I can see where the cut is being done. Then I'll be finished. No issues with the hood at all, fit like a charm, same as the NISMO CF Spoiler. Bought both from Jim at Showstoppers and you can't go wrong. If anybody on this thread has pictures of their under hood cut, mounted and the studs mounted, please pm them to me. Thanks for that also, it would really be appreciated.

I'm doing the flush mounted darkgrey/black type. No pins sticking up, etc. Looks very natural, but also good re enforcement to give added strength to the hood. Don't want it coming up on me at 65 "---"mph unexpectedly, as I had read on other posts. Saw the pictures on them, and they're very nice looking too. Not the old silver pin in the air type.

yeah i recommend you get hood pins or aerolatch cause my cf hood popped opened on frwy doing like 80 and it pulled out left and right fenders, smashed windshield, and put a big *** dent in my roof. thank god my insurance covered everything.
