Does anyone know where I can find/order the snail panel that holds the tweeter for an 03 z? Or do I have to go to a dealership? My drivers side was damaged while I was cleaning out the carbon build up from my window motor. =(

Now its annoying the hell out of my that my tweeter panel is loose.

Any links? I'm in the SF Bay Area if there are any good local places, let me know.

don't mean to hi-jack, but how do you remove those by the way?

 

I just removed the whole door panel while trying to get to my window motor. After that, you just GENTLY pull it out. It's has fasteners like the door. I actually accidentally broke one of the fasteners off. Unfortunately the sail enclosure has built in fasteners, unlike the door panel.

The part costs so much because from the factory because Nissan includes the OEM tweeter with it.

I am looking for original sailpanels without the tweets to replace the hole I drilled in them for my first set of tweeters. Hell I even offered to trade someone my sail panels with CDT Tweeters still installed for a set of uncut ones, never got any takers.

 

Again, sorry to hi-jack, but is there a DIY on how to do that? I'm wanting to upgrade my tweets...
