Default Pictures of stock bumper with the grill part cut out?

Does anyone have pictures of the stock 03-05 front bumper with the grill part cut out of it (the black part in the middle)? I remember seeing it done on someones car a while back and I can't find it anywhere. I kind of want to change the look of the front end and clean it up a bit. Thanks for the help.

Haha........to close.

How well does it hold up? Is it still fairly sturdy or does it compromise it's structure a lot?

Still completely sturdy, especially with the addition of the lip. Honestly, I cannot stand the grille on the 03-05 Z's. But I do think you need an FMIC or a big oil cooler like the ARC to pull off the grille-less look.

How does it stay sturdy?
My 06 seems to flex a lot.

I hate the look as well. An oil cooler will look really nice in there.

This guy did it on his white Z:

The plastic grill is the one thing about the car that I truly don't like. It looks very cheap on an otherwise nicely done design. I will likely cut mine out until I get a new front bumper...radiator and oil cooler look better than that plastic nonsense to me.

"EEZ" I like how you cut yours out. Did you smooth out the spots where the grill attached to the bumper? If so how good did it turn out?

^^^ Isn't that you're car in Turbo magazine this month?

Do you think they would be easy to smooth out and sand? I want it to look like they were never there. I don't feel like messing it up to bad then wanting to paint it to fix it. I'm a little OCD about how clean my car is.
