Question Okay i need some help! Designing a bracket for my harness bar!

Basically my harness bar came without the "U" brackets needed to mount the rear support bars.

Now instead of standard U brackets I have started thinking about something unique yet asthectically pleasing. I came across the idea of using a threaded rod (or allen head bolts) and a treaded CLEVIS style rod end to support the harness bar uprights.

Something like this:

By using a threaded rod (or allen head bolt) I can eliminate worrying about getting a clevis rod end that is wide enough to fit a bolt head that could lead to a loose fitting harness bar upright.

Basically here is where i need your help:

I do not have my car infront of me so i cannot make a measurement myself. I am buying these parts ahead of time because i have absolutely ZERO time to finish my car for this this weekend as soon as it arrives.

I need to know what the length, diameter and thread pitch of the silver bolt that holds this U bracket to the child seats anchor point in the following picture is:

Knowing how limited parts are in a certain pitch and diameter I will also buy the appropriate tap and rethread the child anchor bolt hole to accommodate my design.

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!
