what to do with my roof...
I got a tiny dent on my roof and a decent scratch from something flying into it when I was driving. I have no idea what it was, but it felt like a wrench or something. Now I'm trying to decide what to do with the roof. My options are:
1.) take it to a place to fix the little dent and paint it gloss black
2.) take it to a place to just fix the roof and repaint it factory color
3.) get a carbon fiber roof overlay (won't make much sense since i dont have anything else Carbon fiber).
I really need some opinions here. Just put yourself in this situation and tell me what your option would be.

so what was option 1?
I would say the CF overlay, but I keep reading about fitament issues and yellowing with some members' cars...a shame really, it's a great looking piece.
Paintless dent removal for a single dent will be $50-$75. Then paint it black.

get pdr fa sho. if no mods done just get it repainted factory color but if you have decent mods and you think black roof would look good then this would be a good excuse to paint your roof black. you should post pics of your ride so we can help you out more

if you go with black, make sure you get paint becuase black vinyl will swirl up and scratch and you can't buff them out like clear coat and it will look like **** in teh sun.

So far very mixed opinions. But i'm 90% sure ill get it painted black.
With my previous car (g35) i had a huge scratch on the rear quarter panel, took it to a place and it cost 800 to fix and repaint the whole panel. Based on that, how much do you think they would charge for a tiny (barely noticeable, only under angle, dent and) and repainted roof ?? Also, will the black roof match my tint, it's 5% ?

I say restore the original color. CF is worthless unless your replacing, your covering which will add weight! Painting it black will work but unless your doing something else to accent it it'll stand out and not in a good way.

Thanks for everyone's input. I went to a bodyshop and they quoted me close to 600 to fix the dent and repaint it factory color. If i were to do paint it black, it's another 200 on top of that.
