Default Dome light door switch

I was installing some lights in the footwells lastnight and thought I blew a fuse. The dome lights no longer come on when when the doors are open, but they will come on when pressed... I have checked the fuses on the driver's side and under the hood they all look good. I even tried the trick for the bcm and disconnected the ground from the battery for an hour and tried again still nothing. Any ideas on what else it could be?

I looked through the manual and if I'm following the diagram right then the door switch goes to fuse 21 on the fuse box on the drivers side. Unless there is another fuse I missed... The strange part to me is that I can still turn the lights on by manually pressing them they just will not come on by the door any more
