Default Air still comes in when fan set to off?

Picked up an '07 a little over a month ago and have noticed that even when I turn the fan speed off, I can still feel a tiny amount of air coming through the vents. It seems to still match the vent selection/air temperature, so I can change the vent to the windshield and not feel anything, but I'm wondering if this is normal for these cars? I tried searching with no luck. Thanks

Yeah. When that happens, press the center dial (i think its temp, cant remember) and the light on it will switch settings circulating outside air to off

its called "vacuum". Your cars not air tight so as u drive the air escaping out of the car is drawing air into the car through the ventilation. Sometimes when the air's too hot for me to have on i roll down a window just a tad to suck the hot air to my feet just enough!

+1. with re-circulation on no air should come in. I press the middle button automatically now after turning the air off.

Thanks for the replies. Haven't noticed this on previous cars. I'll turn the recirculation on in the future.

If you turn the system to "circulate", it will close off the opening from the outside. I roll up my windows and do this when passing through a dusty area.

When the system is turned to "flow through", the system stays open, and the free-flowing air still flows through the system.

Make sense?

Just a vent that opens and closes. Either setting will result in hot air blowing on you though... the car breaths like a vette.

FYI, if you run the AC, keep that vent set to "Open", otherwise your windows will start to condense.
