Sometimes when my GF is in the passenger seat, the AIRBAG OFF warning comes on. It turns on for like 2 minutes then shuts off. It never turns on when I'm drving by myself.

She wieghs liek 105. Anyone else get this?

 

Just a thought, in the 07 owners manual does it make any reference to the airbags, and the weight in the passengers seat?

i have a 2007 and this happens pretty much everytime my girlfriend is in the passenger seat

 

x2....my gf weighs about 105 also, and this happens everytime....mine's a 07 with the SRS airbag option

 

check to see if the plugs are loose under the seat or if u know how to take the seat apart see if the sensor was placed wrong on the seat, if so fix and unplug the battery then plug the battery up, if it doesnt reset then u have to reprogram the ecu

 

I think the sensor _only_ works when someone is sitting on the passenger seat. Which might mean that the passenger air-bag is always off? In some cars you can switch it off, I don't know about the Z
