There are upgraded ones designed for Zs with spoilers.

These are the heavy duty ones: http://www.thenismoshop.com/ikorb.ph...product_id=448

Sells them through Z1.

I've got them with a CF N1 wing and they work well.

wow I had no idea this would happen and that it would be so common. I was thinking of a spoiler but stuck to the wingless stance. Glad I stuck with it cause I would of had a headache.

shiet. My hatch doesn't stay open if its less than 60degrees out, and I am spoilerless as well.

Just so you know, Gmic, these guys are referring to capital letter usage when they use the word "loud." Anytime you use capital letters in an electronic medium you are considered to be yelling, hence the reference to your decibels. Just thought I'd let you know so you knew what was going on. It's fine to capitalize letters at the beginning of sentences and proper nouns, but rude to do so in all words or all letters. Just .02. If you are angry, though, capitalize away ;o)

I have bought the ones from z1 couple months ago.. they are strong enough to hold on to any aftermarket spoiler.... I got a bad set of ball socket holder (i am waiting on the replacement in mail) but the sponsor "Z1 Performance" and vendor "jtabraham" stands by their products and provide excellent communications...so, I would def recommend you to buy that set for $153 ... $280 for the Nismo set seems a bit overpriced.... hope this helps

This is the best suggestion here- pop the plastic off of the hatch and remove that hatch weight that's stuck on there. It may even out the added weight of the wing.

Hmmmm......good information as my hatch won't stay open and it's a PITA

However, I think removing the hatch mass will decrease your NV performance because that's normally the reason for adding it. Just an FYI

Don't bother with taking the weight out of the hatch..it doesn't help. I have the ones from jtabraham and they are excellent. Nismo ones are way over priced. I have the Nismo wing and with the jtabraham ones, I haven't got hit in the head once plus its an easy install with 2 guys(1 to hold the hatch)

what is NV performance?

that mass is there so the hatch doesnt pop up as fast. it being so far back on the hatch will require even more force to prop the hatch up. every little bit of weight off will help stock hatch shocks, unless yours are blown-

i never had a problem on my stock hatch, stock hatch shocks and my gt wing after i removed the weight.
