what you guys think about 06 tail lights with 05 front lights? i know i should just do the whole thing but we all know how expensive the fronts can be.. and the tail lights arent too bad.
was wondering would it be off or weird to rock the 06 rears without getting the fronts to go along with it?

a lot of people have done it, looks perfectly normal. the 06+ led tails look WAY better than the 03-05 ones!

the headlights are pretty damn pricey

 

since i have a ppw with gold brembos, I prefer the 03-05 amber strip. Plus they look more aggressive and eye pleasing. The styling on the newer ones are "different..."

I'd rock the 03-05 fronts with the 06 tails.

 

I'm looking to get this combination in the near future on my PPW. I personally like the 06+ HID's, especially after badass's like Cincity gets their hands on them, unfortunately I don't have like 2 g's to drop on blacked out 06+'s.

I agree, it doesn't look odd at all. Aesthetically I prefer the 03-05 headlights (especially with a cleared reflector), but I know that the 06+ headlights are superior in terms of light output.

just tint the rear, or the front. (painted) looks fine. DO it! do it! just do it.

 

i dont see why not? but the question is... wouldnt you rather just save that money for the headlights?

 

^i COULD just save up for the headlights. but i think the taillights looks worst then the headlights... and i have a base model so no hid.. -__- and converting non hid to hid might be a lil too much for me and i never had any experience with playing with lights.

actually now that i think about it.. i need hid...

 

honestly LED tail lights are last on my need to mod the exterior list. i got my 06 headlights before anything on the exterior, besides the wheels.

 

yea your right i mine as well save for the headlights. guess i looked toward the tails first cuz they were alot cheaper =\

 

I have the exact same setup but plan on upgrading the front to 06+ bi-xenons. I can't stand my 05 headlights anymore!

 

You must get those LED tails. Cuz I got em. LOL
