Default Front lip for my car?

I have an 04 Roadster (Pewter/Silverstone) and I want to get a front lip. I want nothing major or extreme. It has to look factory. I don't want it to look like it is picking up everything like it's a shovel or a snow plough! I don't want to replace the whole front bar either. Just a lip.

I don't think I want to put side skirts on at this stage either. Does it look unbalanced with just a lip?

Does Carbon or painted look better? I have been offered a carbon one but I am worried it may look silly on an otherwise stock car.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

No worries mate. How much was it and where did you get it? It is just a lip that bolt onto the stock bar right?

Wrong section, no? Either way, Veilside v1 or Authentic Nismo is the way to go and I don't think it looks unbalanced either. www.MyNismo.com has both and some other vendors on here also carry them.

Oh and sluggoZ, your car looks so clean, love it! Where did you get those wheels?? I love them!

Yes, just a lip....2 bolts on each end. double sided tape on each end & in center.
I would add more tape onto to the bumper.
Also you need a mate to help you....its a very snug fit but thats what you want for a perfect fitment. I also added 2 sheet metal screws, one on each end in the wheel well area.

Mine is urethane...bought it from www.intensepower.com paid $328.00 + $75 shipping back in '06.

Do not have it pre-painted...it will get skuffed up.

I was thinkin I wanted a lip and like the stillen one that is unpainted just in flat black. My car is brickyard tho so I think a flat lip would look pretty cool...

https://my350z.com/forum/exterior-and-interior/343110-stillen-front-splitter-on-stock-bumper-pics.html

I was just thinkin that minus the stabalizers... I really like the Veilside lip too, very nice.

It's genuine....(proof of purchase) BTW you don't know jack about the Veilside v1 lip....the first edition had big letters of the name going across the front of the lip...VEILSIDE & I did not want to advertise any brand what so ever & not even Nissan...all Nissan badges were removed on day one of my delivery including the Nissan center cap wheel inserts....I had the Z logo center wheel caps installed at the dealership just before driving home.

Hi Sluggo, do you have a link to a site with your wheels on it? What size and offset did you go? Any hassles? Is your car lowered at all?

Also what are the clear corners on your car? The look like they have LED's in them. I want some!

The wheels are iforged from www.forgedwheels.com
They are ordered with custom offsets.
The LED fronts are hooked up with transistors on each end, no relay.
I bought mine in the classifieds but I believe there's a dealer here who sells them, can't think of the name right now. The transistor boxes were special made. All hook up in unison.

No, my ZR is not lowered & I have no plans on lowering either.

Good Luck!
