The only blacked out lights I would do on a z are 06+ painted headlights. Not a fan of tint film on headlights. Decreased visibility ftl.

looks clean to me. I think the headlights would have to be that dark to make it look good, It needs to be the same color/shade as your side markers.

yea i thought about the decreased visibility factor and i had them on my old celica and it wasnt too bad plus im upgrading to xenon 4300k hid kit so i think it would be fine seeing as how anything is better than the non-hid halogens that i have now

I think the 350z headlights can be quite a feature of the car. Tinting lights looks cheap most of the time. That's my honest and harsh opinion.

black roof looks good. Tinted headlights looks cheap and fugly. Eyelids on top of that looks retarded. Take the money you would have spent on black film and eyelids and buy some rear spacers.

Everything looks good except the headlights. They would look 10x better if you painted the inside of the housing black, and stayed away from the overlays. Plus the overlays might cause cracking on your headlight cover. There are some DIY write ups on modding headlights. Or you can send them out and have them painted. Rest of the Z looks good!

^im not going to get eyelid overlays, im going to get the plastic ones and paint match, if i had the money to buy 06+ headlights and paint them i definitly would but 1200 for a new set plus painting, thats just way to much for me, a 17 year old, to afford. In my opinion it doesnt look amazing but it doesnt look horrible, its kind of at the ok level for the amount of money that will be spent opposed to $1200. I thank yall for your opinions, i asked for it after all but do yall think its atleast ok?

It def. looks pretty good. I think better than just "ok". You can always paint the headlights you have now. There's nothing wrong with painted 03-05 housings. I would consider doing that instead of doing the black overlays

I can't speak for anyone else, but no, I personally don't think it even looks "ok". Maybe because you are 17? I don't know, I just think it looks "high school cool". I'd happily rock the OEMs over that.

All I did was clear the reflector in my 03-05 headlamps and it made a world of difference:

I'm actually wanting another set with clear reflectors, but that's another matter. Anyway, if you really are wanting black, there is nothing wrong with painting 03-05 housings.

I think eyelids and painted headlights painted black INSIDE looks good on CS.
Fix your rims though they look like they are playing hide and seek.
