who cares if its fake? it looks good either way. the real HKS blows anyways cause of that y-pipe restriction someone found after hacking it.
in the end, its just an exhaust.

HKS is one of the best sounding exhaust EVER made for the Z, main thing about an exhaust is the sound so... Well that answered that .

x02 owner : hit the exhaust with mothers polish, and repeat till ur liking, as for ur tips, I would just rub all that brown off or pay for some topspeed ti tips I'm glad your car came with that exhaust and you didn't waste money on it

 

btw what can you tell different from hks and mine? im not aware. i polished my exhaust for you today. probably gonna order new tips.

IMO, HKS looks good but the tone isn't the most appealing to me.
Thats really subjective. ITs all about personal taste.

Can't tell you how many people ask me about my exhaust for one of two reasons....(1) Sounds amazing....I want mine to sound like that too! (2) Looks amazing....never saw an exhaust like that!

Look if you got the money to blow. Congrats! I'd prob buy the real deal also, but the fact is I am in med school and don't have the funds to own a 350z really.....esp. not a 1300 exhaust for it. IMO you get a lot more bang for your buck with this exhaust.
