Shine Auto makes one with the lip in carbon fiber, but that is all I know out there that exists.

shineautoproject.com <--don't expect their site to be finished. It's been "Under Construction" forever. Haven't heard from Shine on here in a long time, but everyone I've talked to says their quality is great!

i saw the V1 but i want a kit with a bigger mouth. Looks like i might just end up getting the V2 w/carbon lip.

Go for it, it will look amazing!

Just be careful, Those V2's sit extremely low and CF in general is brittle and will crack if you scrape or bump it hard enough. I've heard good things about Shine's FRP stuff, if you can forgo the CF "look" I'd probably recommend that over the CF if you actually drive your car on the streets.

Just my .02! Good luck and update with pics!

The v2 has more of a clearance than the v1. Even if youre dropped a decent bit it's much more forgiving than you might imagine.

but definitely be careful with that lip if you do get it. shine is the way to go without a doubt.

i didn't even think about the carbon lip hitting the pavement. My Z sits kinda low right now & i have the v1. how much lower does the V2 actually sit? Here is a pic of my Z w/the V1...

First off, I'm not usually big on Z convertibles but yours looks clean. Props.

I don't believe the other poster saying the V1 sits lower than the V2. From everything I've seen the V2 sits lower by at least 1/2"-1" than the V1. Are there any owners that have gone from a V1 to a V2? I'm sure they've got to be out there...

Thanks for the compliments on my roadster. It won't sit like that any more. I just sold my wheels so i could get something different and i'm in the market for a new body kit.

^actually, i think that the v1 IS lower than the v2, but the v2 has a more aggressive lip sticking out forward compared to the v1.

To second bluezup, the V1 is lower. But because of how long the V2 is, the result is a shorter approach angle than the V1. Hope that makes sense.

Definitely makes sense to me, the more overhang there is = worse for driveways and other steep inclines. That's why I've never understood people that have street driven Z's with super long nose bumbers. They look great (as long as they aren't Veilside V3's, , IMO of course) and I'm sure they're better for top end speed aerodynamics, but man it would suck to have to try to drive around with them.
