Need a quote of a mod paint job.
Hey, everybody, I want to re-paint the color of my 350z, after I got my new body kit, but I have never done this before, so I am really really need some of the experienced Z owners or paint body shop, or another professional people for a quote.
My car is in excellent condition, no scratch. Car is in gray silver now, and I would like to get it in bright white, the new body kit has lips on it, so I would like have the lips in black, the hood, top and truck areas are in black also.
Please tell me the quote

This is an almost pointless question to ask on a national forum; JET is at least in the same state but who knows how close.
The cost (and quality) for paint jobs are going to vary wildly. There is a body shop nearby that charges $3500-$4000 for a paint job, and I've seen two of their cars that I think look like trash. There is a shop about an hour from here that will do the work for around $2500, and the results I've seen have been stellar.
Your best bet would be to find a local forum and ask for recommendations, or contact local car clubs that have a good reputation (or clubs with cars that you have seen at shows). The current condition of your car and paint matters very little (as long as there is no rust or body damage) if you are wanting to change the color completely. Personally if your paint is as nice as you say it is, it almost seems like a waste to repaint to a different color, but whatever you want to do.
