i'm diggin DCain's look tho! where did u pick those up? i'd much rather have those.

He's right with the LEDs facing to the side. you can't see them face on at all. but its looks good from an angle or the side. here's a few of my installs.

+1 on dcains. I made similar ones for about $80.00. I also added yellow led's to the sides that are tied into my signals.

These are the LEDs I used:

http://www.ledlightsworld.com/high-d...eds-p-158.html

I ordered them with the pure white with white background. You can buy the bulk reel, but I bought them by the foot, and had to cut them to fit the reflectors (I think ~9"). I've used other LED strips from eBay and oznium.com, but they always had some elements burn out very quickly. I've had these for over a year, and no issues so far. These are also the brightest I've seen.

Original, except for being the clear JDM version. This mod only works on the '06> reflectors, though.

You originally inspired me to start making these haha.

I've made a lot of these, and I just recommend being very careful when in the opening phase. Too much heat and you'll melt the reflectors, not enough and you'll crack the lenses!

they really set the cars off though!

Since there seems to be a new thread about this modification every week I have merged the existing ones with the most info into one universal thread

Any future posts/threads regarding this mod should be made here

Funny how most of the pics of Z's with LED Reflectors are of Carbon Silver / Silverstone
