Default oem spoiler of different color

I'm thinking of buying this oem spoiler (lip) from craigslist but its of a different color. Reason I'm even considering is cuz its cheap ($60). So I'm planning on sanding it, priming it, and bring it to a local bodyshop to paint match and clear coat it. You guys think this is is a good idea? alternative is to buy new with it prepainted to factory color for about $375 http://www.courtesyparts.com/betasit...1236_1607.html

may cost almost the same in the end? Perhaps not but if you're willing to put in the work you might save a few. It's not really worth it most likely considering we're talking about something under $500 but it's your call.

What colour is it now? What colour will it become? Do you have a shop quote on their charge? Does the difference in the end make sense?

These are factors to consider...

If you're gonna buy used just wait a few, oem spoilers are popping up every other day in the for sale threads. That way you won't have to paint it

I just bought an '08 that originally didn't have the spoiler and the dealer manager told me the prices of the spoilers are $750 for the lip and $950 for the nismo. So if that's the truth, 60 bucks and the 100 or so to paint it up is pretty well worth it.

Oh yeah, tons on eBay for $78. But they're oem 'style' so I'm not sure about the true quality.
