Default aftermarket steering wheel questions

I guess I'm looking for a steering wheel that you are adjustable so that you can bring it closer to you while you're driving. I like to sit further back, but the steering wheel always feels like it's too close to the speedometer. It's height adjustable, but I need it to sit closer to me. I guess I have long legs but short arms. Is there any aftermarket steering wheels that comes with the adjustments that I"m looking for?

none that will keep your car safe for street use. IMO not a really good idea to want it closer. they make them a certain distance away for a reason, and that is to not end up a part of your chest in the event of a front end collision.

bleh i have this problem with the oem setup. legs too long and arms too short

i am guessing by spacers, you are referring strictly to aftermarket setups.

If you have a quick release adapter it gives you a quite a reasonable amount of space.

if you want it to sit closer to you, buy a regular sized hub (not a short hub), a quick release, and a steering wheel with an offset (i.e. nardi rally deep corn). The only thing is, it will probably look long and funny. If thats not close enough for you, you can always add a steering wheel spacer.
