Default Do Not Buy Personal Steering Wheels

this is how mine looks after a few weeks of having it. i should have known the day i got it this was going to happen because the suede material looked so thin and poorly constructed to the wheel.

I guess my friend's 2006 BMW M3 competition package with 10k miles which comes with a special edition suade steering wheel has poor quality too since his does the same thing. I told him his sweaty hands would mess up that steering wheel.

think about where my fingers would be when im holding the steering wheel at 10 and 2 o'clock. i would have to have a pinky finger the size of the hulk for it to rub that part of the wheel.

That looks like normal wear for suede, but if your hand never touches that area, how would that happen? Or is that your point?

if you buy a suede anything, jacket, shoes, shift ****, or steering wheel, you need to know how to take care of it. If you don't keep it clean and brushed, it gets matted down, which is precisely what happened in your pics

You've obviously never had to keep a set of timbs (timberlands) looking fresh for an entire winter. If you did you would know that this is what suede/nubuck does and it isn't all that hard to get that fresh out of the box look back.

Suede wheels are designed for use with driving gloves. People do otherwise but for them to last longer, driving gloves are recommended.
