Default pics request: retro fitted 03-05 headlights

I know there is a Z with the q45 projectors retro fitted but I was wondering if anyone knows of any other retro fitted headlights on a Z. I have a TSX projector that I want to retrofit and I am racking my brain on installing it. I think my only option is to make a fiberglass interior for the headlight to mount the projector. but I dont know if it wil work, or if the fiberglass will hold up to the heat.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have any PIC's of this project to get an idea of what you want to do?

Yeah I don't know... try searching for HID's and fiberglass housing? HID's don't produce that much heat actually, far less than halogen headlamps. Guess you could just make a quick little fiberglass housing and stick a hid projector in it and turn it on for an hour and see how it does.

I see what your trying to do, good luck with it.

Wish I knew more on the matter but I don't.

I do remember one guy a while back, maybe like 6 months ago who was offering this kind of retro fit service.

Maybe if you search you can find his name and he might be able to help?

Member Ivory, who is a sponsor on g35driver.com(IvoryGT: IGT automotive), is THE MAN to talk to about headlight retrofits. If anyone wants something done for the 03-05 headlights, he's the one to talk to.

I think Im going to give it another shot this weekend. But I may wait to make a mold of the housing so I don't have keep buying headlights if I screw it up. I ordered the supplies already, just waiting for them to come it.

I'll take some pics this time around and try to figure out how to post them.

*fingers crossed that this works out*

I'm still thinking that a fiberglass houseing is going to be the best bet. Cause I do want to black out the headlight and have the demon eye effect with the TSX projector.
