Stock bodied Z with the right wheels will look better than a kitted Z on stock rollers...

Putting aero on a car with stock wheels will only draw more attention to the fact that you have stock wheels. For the price of aero and paint, you could get a decent set of wheels and tires. Plus, you car will not only look better with the wheels, but will also handle much better.

I noticed a huge improvement in both straight line stability (front end felt nervous and jittery with stock wheels/tires) and cornering when I upgraded the stock wheels on my '05 Z. However, any improvements depend greatly on wheel width, offset, and tire selection.

Wider wheels with a lower offset and wider tires will accentuate the Z's stock lines. Add a set of lowering springs (I'm on Tanabe GF210 and love them), and you are set.

Aero can wait...

...but that's just me.

i got the nismo v2 kit before i got rims - i wanted to give the car a big change first haha - below is a picture of what my car looked like w/ stock 07 wheels - little fishy but okay with overall look and with rims.. looks great IMO --- BUT i'm just putting this out there so you can be your own judge and see what a v2 looks like on stock rims

Wheels are a painful pill to swallow, new tires/mount/balance.
Then immediate drop w/ springs or coils. Maybe a camber kit,
and thennnnnn start thinking aero. Good question.

+1 wheels first, it will make a bigger impact than a kit imo.

What about this option, just getting the V2 spoiler with the stock body and wheels? or no?

a spoiler on the stock body will look way too unbalanced. Especially the V2
