Cloudy Lights....
Tried searching but couldn't find what I was looking for exactly.....
Basically I bought a used Z and the headlights were fairly cloudy. Enough to make it look pretty bad. Now, I used Meguiars Plastix on the outside numerous times and it helped, but its still pretty cloudy.
I recently painted my casings black, so I had the chance to go inside and polish them from the inside, but still it's not getting rid of the cloudiness.
Now my question is, am I stuck with this until I buy a new set or is there some other way to get them cleared up? Also, If i was to have this professionally done do they have other techiniques that would work better than using the Plastix on the inside and outside?
Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks for the input everyone. I'll try to get in touch with a Junk Yard down here in FL and see if maybe I can have someone keep an eye out for some lenses if they don't have any.

Get Mother's Aluminum Polish. Buff it out with a buffer or alittle elbow grease.
Then go over it with Plastic Polish. Both can be bought from Wal-Mart Automotive section.
Had this problem with my Eclipse and 350z..

Heres an tutorial from my old DSM days, if the problem is more severe. You can wetsand it with very fine grit.

I have done 5 sets of headlights on cars at the shop and i use the flitz paste with a cotton buffing wheel. I use an adjustable speed setting pneumatic angle grinder with the setting on medium. takes about 10 minutes per car and they look brand new.
