I just realized that one of these tiny little lights on my car are not working. Apparently these lights only turn on when the headlights are on. Does anybody know the type of light this is and what is required to replace it. Thanks!!

 

Walmart bulb. Believe its a 168, a wedge bulb. Replacing it is the fun part.

 

so do these lights have an actual name, are they "parking lights"? Can you shed anything more about the fun part.

 

Yes, they are the parking lights.

Cant give any details on replacement, since I havent had to do it yet.

just got done doing the swap, wasnt really all that bad. i jacked up the car a bit but was able to swap it out without having to remove the wheel. Thanks again!

If its the parking lights that are out I would just leave them, those little things annoy me, I mean what the heck is thier purpose? Nothing.
