Self tapping screws through the folded up part - done.
It isn't like you're going to be able to just drop it back down after it's been in that position for more than a week anyways - the crease is IMO irreversible, so what does it matter if you put screws through vs using the clips.
Side note: Lowe's has self tapping screws that have a combo metal & rubber washer. I used those to be sure that it wouldn't tear loose. I'll see if I can get the brand/part# off of the box later. They worked really well on my roadster. In fact, when the exhaust, suspension, and part of the bumper got ripped off in the accident, the screws were still holding the bumper tuck mod to the bar.

Yeah, let me know what the part # is.
I had no idea that once you do the mod there's no turning back lol. But it makes sense there would be a crease.
Do you guys think I should do the mod? I have a power agency catback.

Are those the ones: Yes. My car was silverstone, so I went with the silver ones as opposed to the painted ones. They have them both ways.
Should you do it: Yes. I had a modified X02 (HKS rep) exhaust on my roady, and the tuck mod to show it off was one of my fav things. It also looks more natural with singles instead of the two holes. Car will look like hot sekz from the rear - best bang for the buck mod IMO. Do it mang! hahaha

Thanks guys yeah it makes sense, you need a lot of force to keep the bumper up there.
Im having an issue, I can't seem to get the screws into that metal. I've tried with my drill and no luck.

i took self tapping screws, took little force and made a hole in the bumper where i wanted them to be (used 3 total) and then pulled out the plastic scrap. After that, put the screw back in that hole and pushed it into the bumper support. start the drill, give it a few seconds to dig into the metal and then you should feel it pull itself into the bumper support.
