Default Need suggestions/help on bumper tuck

hey whats up guys? was wondering what options i have for the bumper tuck mod.. i know it takes 15 minutes and ive used the search tool and saw the results.. most bumper tucks i saw people actually used a small plate and then bolted it to the support bar underneath.. is there any other way to do the mod without drilling holes so just incase in the future i dont want to tuck it anymore it can be reversed.. any input is appreciated!

Very strong double sided tape?

I used 5 screws, no plate.

I drilled holes and used zipties. I'm not worried about wanting to go back to the way it was.

Yea I think you either use some sorta tape or glue???.... But even if you want to go back to stock, it wouldn't look that bad... I did it whike i was installing my exhaust, then I sold it and went back to stock... It doesn't look that bad

Keep the holes small and as far under the car as possible. If you need to go back, you can fill the holes with epoxy and use touch up paint on that. I doubt anyone will notice.

Default ways to possibly bumper tuck

hey guys, i had a custom single exhaust made for my 370. The only problem is it is sticking out of one of the two little exhaust exits, and it looks horrible. I know that the 350 can tuck the bumper, but because of our butthole it looks like that isnt possible. Has anyone tried to tuck the bumper besides me? or has anyone cut it? Im just looking for a way to get that tucked look, maybe cut it heat it and bend the edges up? If anyone has any ideas or has done anything like this some advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hii,

I did my tuck about 8 months ago, and its still fine. It wont move even if I tried to pull it down. Just go under, unscrew some stuff, clean, put the tape all over the strut bar that will touch the bumper, and push the bumper onto the strut bar for 5 mins. Will be fine.

Default Bumper tuck question?

I am currently running a borla exhaust system but I have decided I want to go with a single exit exhaust on my z. I have seen people do bumper tucks on their z's, but can anyone tell me how I could go about getting that done?
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
