Thanks for the input, I figured the idea wouldn't be too popular.

Still trying to search for some pictures however. While I agree it wont have the same visual effect as a dual exhaust, I think there is something aggressive about a tuck with a stock style can.

After some more research:

I wonder why in paulbk's setup with the Nismo the tips are so far away from the fender? In sinky350z's pics the exhaust seems to sit normally...

Well I went for it. Took some quick pics this evening (many thanks to hndumafia for letting me borrow his camera!)

I think I might modify the exhaust hangers to pull the tips back up to the bumper cover slightly.

Here's another one to illustrate what I'm talking about:

Default Bumper tuck with zip ties worked

Well i actually did the bumper tuck mod with zip ties cause my tabs weren't broken. i just drilled a hole on each side of my heat shield from the exhaust and put a zip tie to the tabs and tightened them till the bumper was raised! Worked great and been like that for a month now and no problems. I'll post pic's soon!

Sorry about the car and I'm really sorry to not see pics of the zip-tie tuck.
