first thing you should do is check your local tinting laws. once you did that the answer is pretty simple.

The local tinting law in my area will not bother me. I just want to see pictures with any % tint on a silverstone 350z. I will get an illegal tint % if i find it too look nice.

+1 ignore laws and do 20% all 5 windows... it's what I have on my car as well... and you can still see out of them at night

Agreed - 20% is dark enough to look good but not so dark that it's hard to drive.

dont let pics fool you

i was the victim of this

i saw pics of 30% and it looked dark. In person its not that dark. I have 30% all around and its pretty damn light. Go lower. trust me on this

It's not only about what's best... but try to stay within reasonable distance from the legal tint limit.

I have 35% on the front windows and 20% on the rear quarter windows and hatch.

let's just say, if i could do it again, i'd go for 15% instead of the 20%.

my 5% all around is so nice. i love the privacy and the pitch black look. however, at night it is difficult to see. but the pros outweigh the cons imo

I have 35% and love it. I would rather not have to struggle to drive at night, plus it's dark enough but still gives that clean look.

dont be fooled. tints look darker in pics then they do in real life. and some of the pics in this thread are taken at an angle (pics taken from the 3 quarters angle) and at that angle, any tint will look dark. hell even no tint looks slightly dark from that angle

This is very true. I have noticed that in the pictures that people have posted. "Turbokanji" 350z at 35% tint is a true repersentation of what that pecent actually looks like. B/C "timmays 350 at 35% looks more along the lines of 20%...i guess it all has to do with lighting and angles
