clearing carbon fiber question

hey guys i have a quick question about clear coating carbon fiber..

is it the same way and same kind of clear coat paint uses or does carbon fiber need a different kind of clear coat? if so what is needed?

You can use any good clearcoat.

same kind but if you are reclear coating i would go with something that has a uv protectant.

just found this post. if u want the best, get a automotive clear. it has uv protection which some hoods for the majority dont come with.
