Default Silvia

I know some people aren't going to like this idea, however........

Why has no one created a Silvia Converison Kit for the front end of the 350Z? To me it seems that this would sell pretty well, maybe I'm way off.

I've searched on here and can't find anything, and can't really find anything on line either.

Am I really the only person who thinks this would look good?

Ok, obviously no one likes it, I love the Z I just hate the freaking lights. They are way to big for the car. It looks like they just reached into the Nissan Parts bin and decided that Maxima lights would work, shaved them down a bit and slapped them on the Z.
I understand that car manufacturers use similar designs to distinguish their cars from the others on the road, but these are sedan styled lights on a sports car and it looks ridiculous.

Just my opinion though, I don't expect anyone to agree.

everyone is allowed their own opinion.

but imagine those kids putting s15 front ends on mitsubishi eclipse../crx/rsx/civic/s2000/geo metros/and similar.
its not that it wont look totally ugly... its just that everyone knows it wasnt made for the car and will be turned off by that idea.

Believe it or not, I actually agree with you, I would never do it to my car (even though I don't like the lights) I'm just suprised that no one has ever done it before.

And of course, I still think it would look good.

They made the Maxima lights to look like the Z, not the other way around.

If you don't like the size, I would recommend doing something to make them look smaller: (mod the housing, darker shade, overlay, eyelid...etc..)

Silvias body lines are more angular, flatter and pushed out. It would be like putting bmw headlights on a porsche. RSX lights on an S2000? Totally different lines.

I do plan on sending the lights to get the housing blacked out.

I didn't know that about the maxima, thanks for the clarification.

I've also been considering the eyelids, but I can't really decide if I like that or not, I'm torn, half love them, half hate them.

I think this looks great. (And i'm not a fan of eyelids either.)
Helluva alot cheaper than a full light conversion from another car.

Hope the owner doesn't mind me posting his car:
