was bored so I hit eBay to see if anything interesting came up for the Z and I found this Lambo kit

was wondering if anyone knew anything about these guys b/c I know the one guy with black Z that posted his pics etc said there was a decent amount of body work needed? has anyone seen or looked into this set-up so far?

 

i dunno about that kit. i know that the company that did mine is still having some problems in the manufacturing process. i did a quick check of his sales and that guy was pretty busy selling neon light kits. so hmmm

1 thing i can gurantee is that what ever happens you WILL need to trim inside the fenders so that the doors can swing up coz theres just no room inside there.

besides if you look hard enough on the windshield banners of the 2 cars on his ebay sale you will read decah.net. which is the company that i delt with. unless that guy is from decah that i call fake. besides decah told me last week that the Z kit is still on hold.

I can assure you I have the exclusive rights to the bolt on kit for the 350z using the www.Decah.net VDC hinge.

The makers of the kit advertised in the link above is "Vertical Door Company" and not Car Excess NOR Decah.

As I understand it, Vertical Door Company is getting sued by Decah for patent infringement on the hinge (An exact copy of Decah's hinge). If you go to Vertical Door Company's website, you'll see it's down - www.verticaldoors.com (only due to the recent lawsuit).

We www.CarExcess.com will have this exclusive bolt on kit available for purchase probably before the end of August, and will be the only shop authorized by Decah to create the hinges for the 350z. Anything else will not be covered by Decah's warranty and is NOT a REAL Decah hinge.

 

yeah with the help of carxs.com i became the first Z with the lambo door kit installed. i understand by now theres 1 Z on the west coast that has it too. i think the body shop that installed my doors made a deal with carxs.com to distribute and install the kit here in Cali. hopefully they can have it out for everyone to purchase soon.
