Default Stop door dings?

What do you guys think about this product. I saw it mentioned on a different forum and wondered if anyone has had any experience with this or a similiar product.

Since it is temporary not a bad idea to protect the car. I've had my Z only two weeks and it's already dinged on the passenger side. I normally park in the back 40--so I think it happened at the dealer when they were repainting a scratch!

Default Why put it on the car ?

Hands down the ugliest thing ive ever seen . . . .

I think that those strips stick out like a sore thumb, save the money and buy better shoes to make up for the extra distance you have to walk to get places . . but dont make the Z look like that -

Plus, how far would you go with the strips ? from the headlights to the tail-lights ?

Because a mommy minivan or escalade will ding you in very different spots when little bobby and jenny hop out of the car so fast.

I just make sure i park in more inconvinient spots - I.E. Mommy ( wit the minivan or escalade ) Wont want to walk all the way from the back of the parking lot to the frot with 4 screaming kids . . so she will park in the closer spots, Plus thats just about where all of the people that actually care about there cars park, so theres less of a chance that one of them would want to dent their door dinging yours.

I always park out in the boonies, but I still worry about door dings. And eventually for alot of people there are times when you have to park in an undesirable spot. Thats when it would be nice to have some temporary protection.

OMG, so thats what that crap was.

I seen this old guy park his Porsche and try to stick this bar on his door. Guess it's held by magnets. took him a few tries to stop it from slipping. (actually I was in a rush so not sure if he had it on or not.

but really how well does that even work?

my Z got dinged on the rear quarter panel. Which this device wouldn't have helped anyways.
