I am interested
Ares,
I am interested in item 1,4,5, and 6.
Regarding item#4, I really liked the work of Clearcorners on Joe's(Sanderman) car:
Sanderman's headlamp
Ares, will your headlamp design be similar to Clearcorners?
Looking forward to the launch of your products.
Rgd,
Mickey

#1,2,4,5 sounds great for #1, 2nd set reserved make it quick ares! I'm watching you
And #4, for headlight, clearing the side strips sounds awesome..I really wanted to get rid of them but was afraid to screw everything... Sanderman's headlight was awesome except black housing and LED signal was not my taste...

damn, this guy ares has very good "motivation" as we say in the marines. very good ideas......i think clear corners had the same idea with clear to amber reflectors/leds; but if you can do it cheaper, im down. i like the idea of the glowing Z emblem. that would be the sh*t. keep up the good work bro, and keep us posted.

working on it as we speak actually. Im new to much of these processes, so as would be expected hitting some hurdles. Im at the last problem once its solved, stuff will start rolling out.
few things done thus far, but not to the perfection I want. soon as I solve the last hitch, Ill post it up.

workin on em, first Im doing the side emblems, basicly on a cost basis, and ease, start with the small easy stuff then move onto the larger harder things. sidemarkers are next on the list after the emblems, and once I master the emblems doing the sidemarkers should be no problem.
of course now that I said that.... haha.
Im anxious too, problem is most of the stuff Im working with has 16 hour cure times, so it takes a day to do everything, if it doesnt work, another day... but its coming...

Great. I'm not trying to haste you up, since quality products doesn't come out in a day, more time means more perfection.
Also, put me in a list for Emblems too.
Gee, ares, you are making money while you are doing something you like, and you are good at. It might not be that much as I think, but still it's such a cool thing.
I wish I was that motivated and talented

I have the resources I need to make it work.
for one Im in college, which means I have access to a chem supply, I can get flasks and cylinders as I need. also the chem major that Im following doesnt hurt.
only problem is it limits the freetime I have to work on it. the 16hour cure times only add to that problem.
good news is its labor day this coming weekend, that means 3 uninterrupted days of work. tho Ive expected to have a finished product last weekend, and the one before, I really think there will be pictures this coming monday. the schedule is set, all kinks are actually worked out, and all the supplies are here.
*fingers crossed*

2. Side emblem signal, this too would be a complete replacement. it would be black where the stock one is black, and clear(silverish) on the Z and outer rim. the clear sections will glow(they can glow any color I can find an LED in). no modification to the body work.(estimated cost ~75$/pair)

Im not using EL, Im honestly not sure how to use that stuff(YET heh), I plan to use 8 LEDs on each side. Im a fan of overkill on light output if you cant tell. Im really just making sure that the peice is lit well and clearly visible.
Less LEDs would be cheaper and much much easier, it is no cake walk to solder 8 leds in the proper pattern so their leads fall in the right spot. but its what must be done.
