HELP NEEDED. Bolt size ??
hi,
Does anyone know what bolt size/thread? is the seat hook mount nut-plate that is behind the drivers seat!!! JDM passenger side another words???
SEE cause the passenger baby seat hook thread is M8x1.25 but when i get that same bolt and test it on the Driver side it doesnt thread???? looks and feels to be the same M8 diameter but does not thread???
Does anyone know...????
I used to know as my racing harness bar was mounted there but i cant find that bolt.......
I'm guessing its either M8X1.0, for some reason they made each side a different pitch??
or something crazy like LH thread or something???
IS anyone in Japan or visiting anytime soon?.... that can take a picture of the JDM spec 350z and see if the hooks look the same as the one attached below for a US spec car???

huh???? one more time.......THERE IS A WELDED NUT PLATE BEHIND THE DRIVERS SEAT!!! Its an UNUSED nut on a USA spec car.
typical nissan nut is threaded to M8x1.25.......(Passenger side is) but this one, the drivers side one is something off???
Anyone........
i cant test mine as i stripped the heck out of it, so i retaped it with a tap and die set to M8x1.25 and pressed on.........
but i need to know what it is still..

UPDATE - found it:
US spec car - LH drive
Drivers side nut is 5/16-18
Passenger side baby seat hook location is M8x1.25
Its weird that they would be different and at that the JDM spec car passenger seat would be 5/16-18, an english thread pitch over metric.........
