Every singe time that the car has been to the dealership it has been screwed up so badly that our lawyer has had to straighten it out , people just don't care anymore , if the motor had blowen up in this car it would probably end up parked for years for someone else to repair and enjoy , rather than take it to the dealership to screw up further, thats why the car has never had the fuel hose recall done ,the last time it was driven in the spring just before the warranty ran out , (I wanted to drive it a little more than the 100 miles its been driven each year for the last 3 years), then the car filled with fumes , so one of the hoses must of cracked, its a shame because the car just turned 5k , if I could get 20k for the car after the hoses are replaced I would sell it , but thats not going to happen, Craig.

Dr Venture, thanks for the offer , I can do the job, but I guess what I'm getting at is, what happen to pride? (I think the problem is called flat rate) most mechanics I know use a impact for everything, I use a torque wrench for anything that lists a spec, Craig.

haha time is money my friend. you can use a small impact gun to take things off that are torqued to a precise lbs. When re installing the nuts and bolts is where a tq wrench comes in handy. cause by the time you wris action every bolt off i dont think your going to want to wrist action them back on as well!

It's in the maintenance section somewhere as I recall. I plan on doing this myself also when the time comes...
