Yup, European models have them as standard.
Could post up a pic with measurements later if that helps

Or......
You could install 370Z side blinkers instead, which I find to be a cleaner solution

I have seen the 370Z blinker mod, the only thing that bugs me about it is that the 350z's never came with it stock. So although it might look clean, there is a bit of a cheese factor to me haha

Exact measurements would be super helpful, Bullet. Someone previously in this thread mentioned 15mm was the distance from bottom of the emblem to top of the blinker, maybe you can verify?

I understand the JDM bling factor. But I couldn't see myself doing this because there is no going back if you don't like it. But I do think it looks pretty cool.

I plan on buying some white LED bulbs to use instead of the amber colored ones, and I believe it should look pretty clean. I think as long as I get the measurements just right etc etc It should come out perfect.

Pics as promised

So looks like the bottom edge of the side emblem to upper edge of cut-out is 1.45cm

WOW! That's extremely helpful man! Thanks much!!!

One more thing, are the bulbs the same as the license plate bulbs? I know in the manual they're referred to as T10 size, but it's the same as a 194 bulb too. Thanks a lot Bullet!

nothing personal but I think you guys are smoking crack, the side marker looks **** and kills the clean look of the fender. I wish our australian spec didn't have the side markers

If I was you guys I would replace the Z emblem with the one on 370z's.. So it will still look clean and have the functionality of a side marker.

That's what I said.....

I wish I could have mine without the additional sidemarker.
If I could drive over, I'd swap fenders straight away, haha

I've actually bought the 370z emblem/side markers so I'm gonna get that installed and have my body shop remove the side marker and patch up the hole.

Well I just made up my template last night out of cardboard with the dimensions given! I'm gonna dig into the project this weekend probably. Going to get the holes taken care of, make sure the lenses and all fit, and then go from there. I'll figure out lighting afterward.

Well, if Kwame says this isn't the correct harness, and I believe him, where can I get the correct harness(es)? Anyone have a Nissan Part#, or anything else which might help? Thanks in advance.

Are these in fact the correct harnesses? From the pic in post#1 of this thread, looks like they could be.

So, I ordered the side lights from nismoraceshop.com, and they're back-ordered for 4-6 weeks, which is fine. I also ordered the wiring harness/sockets from passwordjdm.com, and they just arrived. This is what's pictured on their site:

The douchebags sent just the wiring pictured on the right, but no sockets as pictured on the left of the image.

Anyone know another source for the sockets? I don't really need to spend $20 for $0.50 worth of wiring.

^^ Yea I noticed that too when I was searching on Password:JDM's site for something that might work. In really small print somewhere on the page where you ordered that, it says "This is for the wire only, light sockets not included." That immediately turned me off and I went for a different solution.

My GF actually has a 2000 VW Passat, and I checked out the sidemarkers that come on her car. Well they hold a 194 (T10) bulb which is what the JDM 350Z markers use, but they don't have a real way of attaching to the lenses themselves, just like a rubber boot type thing. So I went ahead and ordered two sockets from RockAuto.com. They actually come all as a kit, with the socket, wire, and lens for like $5.00. Here is the piece I ordered:

http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=707013

They're also the same markers used for Jettas and Golfs / GTIs. I just tossed the sidemarkers and used the light socket assembly and wire. And they've worked great so far! I realized I never took pictures of mine installed, so I will get some soon and upload them when I get a chance!

Thanks a million. They're listed at $2.30 each, and I'm ordering a pair right now.

I'd really like to do this.

Does anyone know if these (on JDM models):

1) Blink "together" with the turn signals?
2) Blink "opposite" with the turn signals?
3) Are solid (remain on with the driving lights)?

Thanks!
