Default JDM Fender Sidemarker Install

Okay, so got everything i need, made a template for the blinker, now just need some input on the distance from the bottom of fender emblem to the top of blinker

Thanks!

Yes, sorry bottom of the fender emblem......I guess i just need help from those that already have these on their cars that came with these "oem" sidemarkers.

i took the chance of doing this mod myself! it was really frustrating! bcuz i had to do it without no template, just eyeball measurements...lol...and it came out FLAWLESS!!! here is a old pic of mines:

I'd still have to pay a "professional"
I just can't iamgine having to cut a hole in my fender.

Yeah I saw your pictures but, didnt want to bother you with exact measurements. I guess i will just have to eyeball it also unless someone in any country besides the US can chime in?

Kwame: luckily it seems i got the factory harness from the member i bought it from, unfortunately it will seem that i have to splice into it anyway and not use the oem plug.

To me 1cm does not look right as

the way how i got my (eyeball) measurements was by looking at a close up pic. of a real JDM fairlady Z's sidemarker...and trust me it's not 1cm... it's more like between .5-.75 inch

^^Cool!! Also how did you end up wiring to the headlights?

Ive got two wires that im thinking of splicing into the turn signal lights....unless these lights are not meant to light up then ill tap into the sidemarker lights.

Makes me giggle - over the pond here we have to have them on and we are desperate to get rid of them to make the lines of the car more tidy and you guys are putting them on!!

Yeah, I don't get the trend, they look unnecessary on the car anyway. Cleaner is better.
