cant wait till the white ones come! there on my list for next body/interior install! can't wait!! getting my led sidemarkers next week from ares should be installed by this thursday including LED parking lights....pictures to come soon guys....stay tuned

Any news on white side markers yet so I can order?

 

I would say maybe in a month or so we might get the White LED Z4 markers, but don't hold your breath for the white ones!!! Just AMBER & BLUE for now.

 

Maybe I'll settle for amber..

Definately!!! Or we'll be in Englishtown's Raceway Park on March 21th (Sunday) for the Import Survival Series 1.

 

Installed mine last night...Amber looks awesome on my brickyard.

I had the Nissan tech at the dealership help me, and the sales guys told me they thought that Nissan should make them stock like this. Everyone who has seen them thinks they are a great addition to the car. Even my wife liked them and she doesnt like anything.

Great quality item, well worth the money and effort.

Also got my Type S CF wing. looks nice, but have not had a chance to get it out the box much. I plan to test fit to hatch tonight.

BrickydZ- you went to a Nissan dealer to get them installed?

I want them but still waiting on installation pics and some pics of it on other cars...

 

First let me apologize to "ANDY" at Evo-R for calling him Randy in my last post. Tried to edit the post, but past the 10 minute limit.

As for my dealer, I rent their Nissan tech afterhours. I figure he can use the money and who knows the car better than trained Nissan tech.

Even the dealer suggested I talk to him. He will do most any install I want, right there in their own bay, Has all the right tools etc. Their Tech charged me $75.00 to install my Nismo CAI when the dealer wanted $80.00 per hour for 3 hours.

He charge me $40.00 for 2 hours of work to remove the wheels, test and solder the Z4 wires, and put it all back together.

Win/Win in my opinion.

 

Wish I had someone like that. $40 definetly sounds reasonable for doing all the work.

 

Andy, order for Amber set sent. However, where are the pics of the install process?

Can anyone direct me to where I can learn how to wire into parking/turn signal lights properly? What are wiretaps that Andy mentioned before?

Need to learn.

Also, for those that have these already, did you put them to the turn signal or parking light? Not sure what to do yet

Sorry we still haven't get a chance to install the Z4 LED on our Z yet thus no pictures of the installation (we'll try to install them this weekend assuming the weather will be nice).

BTW, I forgot to mention that since you are in NY State also, we'll need to collect "NYS Sales Tax" for the government from you. The tax is $5.95 (8.625% of $69), therefore the grand total is $69+$5.95+$8=82.95. We'll refund your Paypal payment ($77) then you can resend us $82.95. Thanks!

Here is the "wire taps" I'm talking about (see pic below), you can get these from any electronic store (Radio Shacks, ...etc) and you'll need to get some more electrical wires also:

 

Ehhh I hate ordering online from businesses in New York. Oh well, I saw the refund and sent the money again, including the tax this time.

When should I expect them to arrive?
I have to go to lunch now since im in school but after Im gonna go to radioshack and buy the wire and wire taps. Can someone explain to me how they work?

They'll be ship out first thing tomorrow by Priority Mail, so you should get them before this Thursday. We do include an installation instruction with the package.

I suggest you goto Radio Shacks after you receive the Z4 LED and bring them with you to the store so they can help you better with what you need as far as size (gauge) of wire and wire-taps.

 

Andy- got email with confirmation number. Can't wait to get them. I suppose they'll have to wait for the weekend though.

Ill follow your suggestion and go with them to get the things. I had to go to the DMV today and wait for an hour and a half so I wasn't able to anyways.
