Default How to install Cargo Net?

I came across a VW cargo net I am trying to use in my Z but I am not sure if it is compatible and i have no instructions. Inside the trunk there are 4 loops where the cargo net should go. On the VW cargo net there are 4 loops as well. I can't figure out or find any info on how to make this work? Any thoughts?

What I needed to know if how to get the loops of the net around the 4 D-shaped anchors that are in the trunk. Doesn't seem possible unless I buy clips or something.

The OEM cargo net has four plastic clips, one at each corner. It's designed to fit the Z storage area exactly. If you're trying to retrofit one designed for a VW, you'll need to add some clips and see how the whole thing fits.

+1! All the info that has been given to you is correct. The Z net has 4 clips that hooks to the "D" rings on your Z cargo area. You just clip it on.

But really, seriously, this nets like 30 bucks. Just go buy one.

I bought one from a member on this site and it so does not fit. Its about 2 inches short of one side of the clips.

it's a CARGO NET... not a 1-off turbo kit you're trying to install..... you can get clip attachments or carabiners @ home depot...

I tried every which way short of re-sewing it. But thanks for all your great advice.

^^^ I'm not sure what to tell you. As long as you have the RIGHT cargo net, it's a 10 second install.

do you have any of the following lying around in the house?
a) Shoe String
b) bungie cords
c) rubber bands
d) twine
e) 20ga wire
f) ethernet cord
g) dead snake
h) empty cans?

a through g you can use to extend the corners to reach the utility hook anchors.
if u have H, you can turn them into a recycling place to purchase a-f. if you have g, and use it. post picture. u will be my hero.

Got it, but buying something that somebody here said was made for the Z and obviously doesn't fit is a little unnerving. Maybe its for the convertible..

its a JDM cargo net. It's a rearry rearry tight fit, but you will get it.

If not, maybe go buy a TIG welder and make some custom cargo net mounts to secure it to.

Then you won't get an answer because that is the only answer.
